Yoga on the way. Time for balance & well-being

 Time for experiences & presence

There are many schools and traditions of yoga with different approaches to discipline and ideas about how yoga helps us physically, mentally and spiritually. We train and practice on the yoga mat, but yoga is also about mindset, perspective and lifestyle in general.

My own first good experiences with yoga were in 2012 on the Camino with Mincho Fuertes in Albergue Verde, and since I have practiced yoga and meditation with many different teachers for example in India and Nepal. Thanks to Mincho, Padma Nair and Surinder Singh, India.

Our modern world offers lot´s of opportunities, but we also live in a time of formidable technology, many perfect surfaces, general busy-ness and quick solutions, and sometimes it can be difficult to find time and space to cultivate our personal balance and well-being.

Yoga is neither a competition nor religion, but an open and humble practice, where we train the body and the feeling for ourselves and each other. There are many self-proclaimed gurus within yoga and meditation, and some may know better than others, but yoga is first and foremost a personal process and experience, which should be based on individual needs and motivation.

- I am trained in hatha yoga with 2x200 hours instructor courses in India, and I aim to inspire others to develop their own flow and personal rhythm on and off the yoga mat. We stretch comfortably and through focus on breathing and a positive inner dialogue, we direct our attention to the whole body and our presence now.

I provide ongoing instruction, but everyone is also their own yoga teacher and responsible for adjusting the effort to what feels good and challenging enough - one step at a time, as we say. It's not about being indifferent, but about focusing on the process.

Maybe you will not travel the straight way back to Delhi, Padma Nair, Kovalam, Kerala
