There are many schools and traditions of yoga, with different approaches to discipline and ideas about how yoga can help us physically, mentally and spiritually. We train and practice on the yoga mat, but yoga is also about mindset, perspective and lifestyle in general.
Yoga is neither a competition nor a religion, but an open and humble practice where we train the body and the feeling for ourselves and each other. There are many self-proclaimed gurus within yoga and meditation, and some may know better than others, but yoga is first and foremost a personal process and experience, which should be based on the individual's needs and motivation.
My own first good experiences with yoga were in 2012 on the Camino with Mincho Fuertes at Albergue Verde, and since then I have practiced yoga and meditation with various teachers in India and Nepal, among others. A big thank you to Mincho, Padma Nair and Surinder Singh, India.
Our modern world offers a lot of opportunities, but we also live in a time of formidable technology, perfect surfaces, general busyness and quick solutions, and sometimes it can be difficult to find space to notice and cultivate personal balance and well-being.

- I am a trained yoga instructor in hatha yoga with 2 x 200 hour yoga courses in India, and I want to inspire others to develop their own flow and rhythm on and off the yoga mat. We stretch comfortably and through focus on breathing and a positive inner dialogue, we direct our attention to the whole body and our presence now.
I provide ongoing instructions, but everyone is their own yoga teacher and responsible for adjusting the effort to what feels good and challenging enough - one step at a time, as we say. It's not about being careless, but about focusing on the process.
