Day 1 / Morning in Sarria and camino hike 22 km. to Portomarín. The Camino passes small villages, and the day offers, among other things, panoramic views and hiking along a river valley. Possibly with an overnight stay in Morgade after 14 km. or elsewhere along the route.
Day 2 / 24 km. hiking to the Palas de Rei. Another beautiful day in lush Galicia. It is recommended to hike at a comfortable pace with time for breaks, meals and experiences along the way.
Day 3 / 26 km. hiking in a relatively flat terrain up to Rabadiso. With opportunities to dip your feet in small rivers and obvious with lunch and possibly accommodation in Melide, which is known for delicious octopus, Pulpo de Galicia (after 14.5 km.)
Day 4 / 22 km. walk up to Arca do Pino. Ideal with a drink or lunch on the square in Arzúa, and then you can look forward to hiking through old eucalyptus forest. As in general for the route, a fairly straightforward day with several options for catering along the way.
Day 5 / Today's 20 km. hiking leads to Santiago de Compostela, and it's time to enjoy the unique atmosphere of the beautiful city with cultural elements and reunions with other pilgrims.
Day 6 / Suggestion for a bus trip to nice Finnesterre and 2 x 3 km. Hike to the lighthouse. Some say that Finnesterre and the sunset at the Atlantic Ocean were the original goal of the pilgrimage.
Morning in Finnesterre. Enjoy the atmosphere at the harbor and visit the beautiful little beach behind the town. Or maybe you continue 28 km. on to Muxia, another gem. With the possibility of overnight accommodation halfway in Lires.

Approximately 10% of all pilgrims who go to Santiago continue 86+4 km. to Finnesterre and the lighthouse at the "End of the World", which in the old days was thought to be the most western point in Europe
